Data to provide support

When problems occur requiring support assistance, provide a detailed description of the problem,

as well as output collected from the following HCM and BCU tools:

• Support Save

• Diagnostics

• Port logs

• Port statistics and properties

• Adapter properties

• Host operating system error logs

Data collection using host system commands

The following table describes commands common to each supported operating system that you

can use to gather information for troubleshooting problems. For details on these commands, refer

to your system’s online help and documentation.

NOTE

Output from all of these commands is captured using the Support Save feature.
